Unlike the warehouse and office spaces, the gallery space is part of Van Go’s original home. Receiving an extreme facelift during the renovation, the once dark rooms with flimsy ceilings have been transformed into a gorgeous, modern gallery.
Nowadays, six skylights draw natural light into the space, while the artwork adds vivid color and life. Filled with charming art, handmade by Van Go’s apprentice artists, the space exudes personality and creativity. Shopping in our gallery not only allows you to own or give beautiful gifts, it allows our mission to move forward. All of the proceeds from gallery sales go directly back into our programs aimed at reaching Lawrence’s neediest teens. Not only are you shopping locally when you shop at Van Go, you are shopping with a purpose….the purpose of changing the lives of at-risk youth in Lawrence.
